Use Timatic No, the source of documentation for most airlines, is about the conditions of entry, what she said, to determine travel to Turkey:

The visa is not required if:
- Continue straight / round-trip within 24 hours for the same or
First flight of the interconnection and
- Confirmed the operation of the outward and return journey and all documents
for the next goal, and
- Keep the airport.
There are no suitable facilities at the airport.

However, if you are planning to leave the airport for 23 hours and 55 minutes, you need a visa for Turkey, because you have seen the accession of Turkey.

But give Croatia:

Passport (must be for the duration of intended stay in force) is required.

Visa is required.

So be sure to have a visa for Croatia.
